Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy / Head of the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno Inaugurated the tourist destination of Adian Nalambok in the Balige area, Toba Regency, North Sumatra.

In the inauguration which was held on Thursday afternoon (10/6/2021), Sandiaga revealed that the renovated destination in collaboration with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) in February 2021 is expected to be one of the points of the travel pattern that will be compiled to developing the Lake Toba area as one of the super priority destinations. "Adian Nalambok is one of 34 scenic points that will later become a travel pattern for traveling on Lake Toba," said Sandiaga.

Adian Nalambok is located on a ridge between Parapat towards Balige. Thus, Adian Nalambok is one of the best spots to enjoy the beauty of Lake Toba.

Sandiaga said, to build 33 other scenic points, he would embrace nomads from the area around Lake Toba to participate in contributing to the development. "In this development we need to embrace all parties, maybe the pattern can be in the form of cooperation or CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility)," he said.

In addition, Sandiaga hopes that the inauguration of the Adian Nalambok destination can help move the economy of tourism actors and the creative economy in the area.

Sandiaga also advised managers and visitors from Adian Nalambok to always apply the CHSE health protocol (_Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environmental sustainability_) strictly and with discipline. "Because this project was initiated by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, it means that this location must also be one of the examples of the implementation of strict and disciplined health protocols," said Sandiaga.

Also attending the event was the Director of Destination Governance and Sustainable Tourism Kemenparekraf/Baparekraf, Indra Ni Tua; the Managing Director of the Lake Toba Tourism Authority (BPOPDT), Jimmy Bernando Panjaitan; Regent of Toba; Poltak Sitorus; and Regional Secretary of Toba Regency, Audy Murphy Sitorus.
