Nugra Jasadharma Pustaloka, The Highest Appreciation For Literacy People in Indonesia

Gemilang National Library Award 2021 - 

 

Seeing the achievements, all the hard work and enthusiasm shown, the National Library of Indonesia (Perpusnas) specifically gave appreciation in the form of the highest award, Nugra Jasadharma Pustaloka, which is an award for people who dedicate efforts to develop and utilize libraries as well as consistent efforts to develop a culture of reading and literacy to literacy figure in Indonesia. 

The award presentation was packaged in the National Library's Gemilang event, which this year was held to coincide with Library Visit Day which falls on September 14 and the Month of Love to Read. 

According to a release received by Voice of Indonesia Tuesday (14/09/21), The Head of the National Library of Indonesia Muhammad Syarif Bando stated that The Gemilang National Library is a form of appreciation for the people who support the role or pace of the National Library in cultivating a love of reading. 

Gemilang National Library invites the public to recognize the inspiring, informative, communicative, and educative activities carried out by the National Library of Indonesia in supporting the dissemination of information on the existence of libraries, for people who make reading a culture and lifestyle a habit.

In this event, in addition to announcing the recipients of the Nugra Jasadharma Pustaloka award, the National Library also announced the winners of a number of competitions held by the National Library of Indonesia, namely the best book competition, speech competition, high school library competition for equivalent, village/kelurahan public library competition, highest data contributor for Indonesia OneSearch, and the province with the highest reading interest rate (TGM) and the highest Community Literacy Development Index (IPLM) in Indonesia 2020//VOI-NK
