Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati emphasized that the disclosure of public information, including government financial data, was very important.

According to her, the disclosure of public information is a form of concern for Indonesia, not just the government's responsibility. This is because this is one way to prevent the circulation of hoax information to the public.

"Don't let our country be flooded and dominated by untrue information," said Sri Mulyani in the Public Information Disclosure Webinar, Thursday (4/8/2022).

Furthermore, Sri Mulyani assessed that hoax information was produced by parties who did not want Indonesia to focus on advancing the nation, maintaining unity and integrity, and building a just and prosperous country.

Therefore, Sri Mulyani ensured that her staff at the Ministry of Finance remained committed to fighting hoaxes, by maximally disclosing information.

"So the public can get accurate, timely and quality information about state finances," she said. (RRI)
