Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo Always Supports the Creativity of Indonesian Artists in World Competitions

Indonesian artistsFadjar Kurnia and Muhammad Fahry Aziz from the Fox the Folks became judges in the Tokyo Light One Minute Projection Mapping 2022 competition in JapanFadjar Kurnia in Tokyo on Wednesday (21/9admitted that he never expected to be on a jury in prestigious competition. He hopes that in the future,there will be many Indonesian men and women who make many achievements abroad.

 

Meanwhile, Muhammad Fahry Aziz hopes thatthe Fox's the Folks work can inspire young Indonesian and world artistsThe two Indonesian video mapping creators will not only act as judges, but also become special guests to exhibit their new works in order to enliven the competition of Tokyo Light One Minute Projection Mapping with the theme “Life”In 2021, the Fox the Folks won the Grand Prize and Audience Award categories in the same competition.

The competition is an art of projection mapping which combines the arrangement of light and sound in a unique work of art that is strictly assessed by an international panel of experts. The involvement of the two Indonesian artists received appreciation from the Indonesian Ambassador to Japan and the Federation of Micronesia, Heri Akhmadi.

 

Moreover, Ambassador Heri assessed the selection of the Fox the Folks as one of the judges at the Tokyo Light One Minute Projection Mapping 2022 is proof of the success of young Indonesian artists appearing in international competitionsHe  also said the Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo always supports the creativity of Indonesian artists in the world competitionThe Ambassador hopes that  in the future Indonesia-Japan cooperation through collaboration in the creative industries can continueTokyo Light One Minute Projection Mapping 2022 will be held at the Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery/ Tokyo/ on 17-19 September 2022
