Expert Staff to the Minister of Trade for International Relations, Arlinda and Under Secretary of the US Department of Commerce, Joe Semsar discussed the possibility of drafting a joint action plan to increase trade between Indonesia and the United States (US). It is expected that its value will double in the next five years. The discussion took place at the Indonesian Embassy in Washington DC, USA on Tuesday (17/11) Washington DC time. In 2019, the total trade between the two countries was recorded at US$ 27.11 billion. This amount is targeted to be US$ 60 billion. This idea was previously raised in 2019, but it has not been followed up because both sides focus on resolving the issue of the Generalized Systems of Preference (GSP).

The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Jakarta and the Faculty of Science and Technology of the State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a Webinar with the theme "Renewable Energy Prospects" on Thursday (19/11). Those who were present as the main speakers were Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, Abdulla Salem AlDhaheri, Lily Surayya Eka Putri and Fatima Al Madhloum Al Suwaidi from the UAE Masdar Mubadala Company, and Rizal Broer Bahaweres, a lecturer at the Faculty of Science and Technology. UAE Ambassador Abdulla AlDhaheri shared his country's experience in various fields, including science and technology. He also wants to improve bilateral relations between Indonesia and the UAE.
