The Independent National Bureaucratic Reform Team (TIRBN) of the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN RB) Eva Kusuma Sundari said the late PAN RB Minister Tjahjo Kumolo was a very simple figure, especially in everyday life.

"I was close to him when he was appointed a member of the Century Special Committee, then Mr. Tjahjo asked about the booklet, I made a report in the form of a booklet, Mr. Tjahjo said I published your writing, it was good for public relations, so it was made into a book," ahe said while talking to Pro 3 RRI, Friday (1/7/2022).

He said he had lost a good senior figure for him. That's because, there is no other politician like Tjahjo Kumolo.

"He once said he didn't expect to become a minister and once said that I'll be old enough to become a member of the DPR, a politician who has more friends than enemies," ahe added.

It is known that the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Tjahjo Kumolo reportedly died, Friday (1/7/2022) today.

Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN RB) Tjahjo Kumolo, died at the Abdi Waluyo Hospital, Jakarta, Friday (1/7/2022) at 11.10 WIB.

Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives (DPR) and General Chair of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) said Tjahjo Kumolo had given extraordinary dedication and service and tirelessly did his best for the interests of the nation and state.

"We both fought in politics. He was previously Secretary General of the PDI-P, we interacted a lot together. Then became Minister of Home Affairs and MenPAN RB. All of his energy and thoughts were devoted and dedicated to the interests of the nation," said Muhaimin.

Muhaimin said, Tjahjo Kumolo is one of the political figures who has a good career and is far from controversy. Until the end of his life, the deceased gave his best not only for his PDI-P party, but also for the interests of the nation and state.

"Goodbye Mr. Tjahjo Kumolo. God willing, we will continue your struggle for the good of Indonesia's future," he added.

He also expressed his deepest prayers and condolences for the death of Tjahjo Kumolo.

"I just arrived a few hours ago in the city of Medina during the pilgrimage. I am shocked and deeply saddened by the death of my compatriot in politics and government, Mr. Tjahjo Kumolo," said Muhaimin.

"Let us all pray that he will be husnul khotimah and get heaven as a reward for all his good deeds," he explained. (RRI)

First, I would like to thank President Putin for his remarks in Moscow.

We discussed a few things and there were a few things I talked about during our meetings. First, issues related to peace and humanity have always been a priority for Indonesia's foreign policy. The Indonesian constitution requires Indonesia to always strive to make its own contribution to ensuring peace throughout the world. This is the context of my visit to Kiev and now to Moscow.

Second, as I said in Kiev, even though the current situation is still very difficult, I will still say that it is important to move towards a peaceful settlement and open dialogue. I handed President Zelensky's message to President Putin and said I was ready to help establish contact between the two leaders.

Third, we discuss at length about the importance of food and fertilizer for the world community. Hundreds of millions of people have been affected by logistical disruptions to food supplies, especially in developing countries.

I appreciate that Putin said that Russia guarantees the security of food and fertilizer supplies not only from Russia but also from Ukraine.

Fourth, for the sake of humanity, I support UN efforts to reintegrate Russian food and fertilizer products, and Ukrainian food products into global supply chains. In particular, with respect to supplies from Ukraine by sea, Putin said that he gave guarantees.

Fifth, we took the time to discuss cooperation between Russia and Indonesia not only in investment and trade activities but also in the tourism sector. We will continue this cooperation and will form a [working] group to thoroughly discuss this issue.

In closing, I would like to say that Indonesia has no other interest than the desire for the war to end soon and for the food, fertilizer and energy supply chains to be restored quickly because this affects the lives of hundreds of millions if not millions of people, billions of people.

I call on world leaders to rediscover the spirit of multilateralism, the spirit of peace and cooperation. Only this spirit will enable us to attain peace.

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) conveyed his condolences for the passing of the Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN RB) Tjahjo Kumolo, today, Friday (1/7/2022).

"On behalf of the Government, State and people of Indonesia, I extend my deepest condolences. May Allah SWT accept all the deeds of worship of the deceased, and may all the families left behind be strong and steadfast," President Jokowi was quoted as saying on his Instagram account.

According to the Head of State, Tjahjo is a national figure who has served his country as Minister of PAN RB

"During his lifetime, the late Tjahjo Kumolo was a youth figure, a politician, and had the opportunity to serve the country as the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform," he said.

For information, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), First Lady Iriana, and a limited entourage are currently in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (PEA) for a state visit. Previously, President Jokowi also visited Ukraine and Russia to carry out a peace mission.

The body of the Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN RB) Tjahjo Kumolo, will be buried militarily at the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery (MP), South Jakarta.

Secretary of the PAN RB Ministry Rini Widyantini said Tjahjo Kumolo's body is currently at the official residence in Widya Candra, to be bathed and buried.

Furthermore, the bodies will be prayed at the Quba Mosque, the PAN RB Ministry complex, Senayan, South Jakarta.

"The body was brought to the Quba Mosque of the PAN RB Ministry for prayers coupled with a military burial ceremony," Rini said at a press conference at the PAN RB Ministry Building, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Friday (1/7/2022). (RRI)
