The city government of Denpasar is currently focusing on lifting again the old potential which contains cultural values through "Heritage Tourism". That was stated by Denpasar Mayor, Ida Bagus Rai Dharmawijaya Mantra when becoming a speaker on" the 38th Executive Committee and International Seminar on Heritage and Sustainable Tourism" in the frame of "City Net Forum" in Nepal. 

Mayor Rai Mantra in a press release which was received by Antara News Agency in Denpasar, Monday (12/11), said that development of tourism sector currently has complex challenges, therefore it needs innovation to keep the stability of tourism sector. The existence of tourism sector can give sustainable and mobile benefitas the development of civilization. According to Rai Mantra, challenges of sustainable tourism development arean ability to create new tourism.

Mantra explained that the city government of Denpasar is currently focusing to arrange andprepare various supporting infrastructure to support the sustainable tourism sector, especially the development of cultural heritage tourism which is this time focused on development of Z Heritage zone which includes Jalan Gajah Mada, Jalan Sulawesi, Badung market and surrounding area in Denpasar.

Various efforts are optimizing to support development of sustainable cultural heritage tourism, beginning from the arrangement of cultural tourism area by putting forward program of preservation, collaboration, creativity, entertainment, conservation, education and "playground". 

In front of hundreds of participants of the seminar, mayor Rai Mantra exp[lained about the development of tourism sector which should be guided on input such as creativity, process, output that can be seen from visits, and also "outcome" asthe immediate benefits derived from an activity.

According to the Mayor, the important thingform cultural heritage is preservation, because its authenticityis the high value, so it needs maintenance by putting forward restoration system for every building and object of cultural preservation. 

He said after preservation, then entertainment, event, and brand which is able to give image and attraction for people, so that it becomes life style and trend that becomes a valued destination and keep moving in a sustainable manner. 

The success of Denpasar in protecting cultural heritage and sustainable tourism development is recognized by City Net Forum. Therefore, Denpasar is chosen as the host of the next City Net Forum Conference entitled Climate Leadership Conference on November 18 - 19.

As dry area, actually Belu regency has amazing natural destination. It is Siata Mauhalek waterfall which is located at Fatumuti hamlet, in Raiulun village, Lasiolat district, Belu regency, East Nusa Tenggara. To go there, you must spend time for one hour because the road is winding and uphill, but along the trip, you will be presented with clusters of green hills.

If you want to enjoy the sensation of Siata Muahalek Waterfall, you can directly go to the rock bottom to feel the freshness of its water. If you touch the water, we are guaranteed you want to stay longer here. Thus, we suggest you to bring your own foods and beverages or you can buy young coconut, roasted banana or corns which are sold by the local people. Indonesian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Arrmanatha C. Nasir handed over credentials to Bishop Urgell, Monsignor Joan Enric Vives i Sicília, co-prince Principality of Andorra on Friday (8/11). In the meeting, Ambassador Arrmanatha conveyed strengthening commitment of bilateral relations between Indonesia and Andorra in the future. A number of sectors which are potential to cooperate are finance and banking, creative economy, culture and tourism. One day before, Ambassador Arrmanatha also met Foreign Affairs Minister of  Andorra, Maria Ubach Font, and shared a dialog on bilateral and multilateral cooperation. One of them, which becomes attention, is youth community in participating to preserve democratic values, Human Right protection and peace.

After holding a bilateral meeting of Human Right Dialog with Norway government in Tromsø, the delegation of Indonesian government departed to Brussels, Belgium to hold similar bilateral meeting with delegation of European Union (UE) on Friday (8/11). In the annual meeting which enters the 8^th year, the two sides agreed to keep continuing pattern of bilateral dialog which so far has contributed in boosting Indonesian and European Union relations. Director of Human Right and humanitarian of Foreign Affairs Ministry, Achsanul Habib, as Chairman of Indonesian delegation in the meeting, said that Indonesian government is still committed to ensuring advancement and protection of human rights. The Indonesian government does not only fulfill the rights of civil and politic, but also rights of economic, social and cultural aspects.

Chairman of Indonesian Tourism Travel Association of East Nusa Tenggara province, Abed Frans said that sale value of tourism package to East Nusa Tenggara on World Travel Market (WTM) 2019 in London reaches billions of rupiahs. To Antara News Agency, he said on Monday (11/11) that the achievement is related to the participation of the province by having special pavilion in World Travel Market 2019 in London, United Kingdom on November 4-6. Overall, transaction value of tourism travel cooperation to Indonesia with various tourism business-people of foreign countries reached Rp30 - 35 billion.
