Pagang Island is located on the middle sea of West Sumatera, precisely part of South Pesisir regency, West Sumatra. Now, the island becomes a new icon of  West Sumatera province. The island area of 10 hectares has white sand beach which is soft and warm as well as coconut trees which dominate small natural forest.

The island is surrounded by blue, clear and calm water and the cluster of coral reefs makes Pagang Island becoming interesting tourism object for people who have hobbies of snorkeling or swimming.

The facilities on Pagang Island are quite simple. You can be acquainted with residents of the island. Some of them will allow you to catch fish or ready to deliver you do trekking to small hills at the middle of the island. There are only a fewer occupants of the island, but they are very friendly to tourists.

The sea panorama of West Sumatra from small hills is so beautiful. You can imagine if you are on the hills to witness the blue sea surrounding you.

To access Pagang Island from Padang city, you can use public transportation to Muaro seaport, and to be continued by renting motor boat to Pagang Island. The trip takes about 2 hours.

Indonesian embassy in Algeria conducted Indonesian Cultural Festival and Pencak Silat Tournament, "Safira Cup" to introduce Indonesian cultural potential in the country. The event which was conducted in Notre Dame d’Afrique on September 20-21, 2019 was opened by Indonesian Ambassador to Algeria, Safira Machrusah. The ambassador said that cultural festival and Pencak Silat tournament was for the first time held in Algeria and the Indonesian embassy welcomes invitation of Pencak Silat Aljazair association to hold tournament which competed Indonesian ambassador Cup.  On the occasion, Indonesian delegation showed Gamelan performance of Ki Ageng Ganjur and Pencak Silat attraction which was represented by Pencak Silat organization of Nahdlatul Ulama Pagar Nusa with  fighters from Algeria.

Indonesian tourism is promoted in World Flight Industry Forum namely World Routes 2019 in Adelaide Showground, Australia on September 21-24, 2019. Deputy of Development Marketing I Field of Tourism Ministry, Rizki Handayani said in Jakarta, on Saturday (21/9) that the participation of Tourism Ministry in World Routes 2019 is to promote Indonesian tourism and also to introduce potential of cooperation with more than 2,000 representatives of industry and aviation authority of the world. The ministry in the forum opens stand and Angkasa Pura I and Angkasa Pura II also hold meeting with industrial representative countries and world aviation authorities. 

Indonesian chamber of commerce and industry signed agreement of cooperation with Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) as early initiative to increase trade and investment relations between Indonesia and Serbia. The signature was conducted on Indonesia–Serbia Business Forum which was conducted at SCCI office in Beograd on September 19, 2019. In a press release on Friday (20/9), it was said that Indonesian chamber of commerce and industry was represented by Head of Bilateral Committee to Bulgaria, Albania, and Georgia, Alexander Yahya Datuk and SCCI was represented by Director of SCCI Sector, Mihailo Vesovic. Alexander Yahya Datuk hopes that the cooperation can become an initial step to increase trade and investment relations between  Indonesia and Serbia.

To ask about kinds of film does someone/your friend like, you can say Jenis  film apa yang kamu suka? or you can also ask them Kamu suka jenis film apa? Which means ‘what kinds of movie do you like?’  If someone asks you about your favourite movie, you can mention kinds and title of your favourite movie.  Next are some kinds of film in Indonesian language such as horor, komedi, drama, drama romantis, laga and kolosal  whihc means horror, comedy, drama, romantic drama, action and collosal.

Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board -BKPM seeks to increase investment flows from South Korea. One of them is through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation (KIND), a South Korean-owned entity for infrastructure cooperation and urban area development. The MoU was signed by BKPM Deputy for Investment Planning, Ikmal Lukman and KIND Executive Vice President, Han Kyu-lim at the Business Forum: Invest Indonesia event in Seoul on Friday (9/20).


Head of BKPM, Thomas Lembong, as released by Republika on Saturday, 21.9'19 explained that the memorandum of understanding is expected to facilitate investors who are interested in investing in Indonesia, especially in infrastructure. Indonesia can exchange information with KIND such as information about a list of potential projects and investment opportunities in infrastructure and urban development.


Deputy Ikmal Lukman explained that on the one hand, the scope of cooperation based on this Memorandum of Understanding includes the exchange of public information that is open to the public. On the other hand, there are promotion and facilitation of infrastructure projects / urban development in Indonesia. For information exchange, BKPM can also ask investors for recommendations from KIND and provide feasibility studies for these projects.


Ikmal also explained that the cooperation is also related to business meetings. At present, KIND is exploring 48 projects in Asia; 15 of them are in Indonesia. KIND projects in Indonesia are spread across several regions of Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi and Kalimantan. The sectors of interest are transportation, environment, logistics, power generation, urban area development, and water treatment plants.


Meanwhile, KIND Executive Vice President, Han Kyu-lim said that for South Korean construction companies, Indonesia has become one of the most important markets in the world. It always wants to establish a better partnership with the Government of Indonesia and private companies. The signing of the MoU between BKPM and KIND is considered very good by Han. Because, this will encourage more active communication and enable effective collaboration. Furthermore, KIND is committed to making the best efforts to increase the participation of South Korean companies in infrastructure projects and urban development in Indonesia in cooperation with BKPM. According to BKPM data, the total realization of South Korean investment in Indonesia from 2014 to the second quarter of this year reached US$7.5 billion dollars.
