Indonesian Embassy in Astana and ISI Denpasar Hold Indonesian Art Exhibition Featured

The Indonesian Embassy  in Astana, Kazakhstan  in collaboration with the Indonesian Institute of Arts (ISI) Denpasar and the National Choreography Academy of Kazakhstan  held an exhibition of Indonesian art. The art exhibition was held at the National Choreography Academy of Kazakhstan  on Monday (19/8). Indonesian Ambassador to Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, M. Fadjroel Rachman pointed out that the exhibition aims at introducing the richness of Indonesian culture to the people of Kazakhstan. He is very grateful for the strategic collaboration with the Indonesian Institute of Arts Denpasar and the National Choreography Academy of Kazakhstan. Through a press release from the Indonesian Embassy in Astana received in Jakarta on Wednesday (21/8), Ambassador Fadjroel explained the art exhibition is part of strengthening Indonesia's cultural diplomacy in Kazakhstan. He hopes  through various joint activities the friendship of both countries continue to progress in all fields.

 

Meanwhile,  the Rector of ISI Denpasar, I Wayan Adnyana  assessed the event is important  because it marks the successful signing of a memorandum of understanding of educational cooperation between ISI Denpasar and the National Choreography Academy of Kazakhstan. Wayan has also explained  that this art exhibition activity is a series of agenda visits to Kazakhstan. There is an art performance at the diplomatic reception of the Indonesian Embassy in Astana with the theme Bali Night Festival  and there is an art exhibition at the National Choreography Academy of Kazakhstan. On that occasion, Vice Rector of the National Choreography Academy of Kazakhstan  Yessentemirova Aigul Maratovna  also expressed his gratitude to the Indonesian Embassy in Astana and ISI Denpasar for the opportunity to get to know Indonesian art more.

 

During the event, visitors can also watch traditional Balinese dance performed by ISI Denpasar and the National Choreography Academy of Kazakhstan. The National Choreography Academy of Kazakhstan is actively expanding the geography of international cooperation. The Academy of Kazakhstan also feels proud  because it is able to create bridges between the arts and culture of various countries. The art exhibition is an important step in strengthening the cultural ties of Kazakhstan and Indonesia, promoting mutual understanding and respect between nations  and enriching cultural heritage and expanding the horizons of world perception.// that’s Diplomatic Corner
