The difference falls on the facility and shape. Wisma (2x) which means guesthouse usually has less facility than hotel (2x) which means hotel. While pondok (2x) which means cottage and resor (2x) which means resort have different shape or form from hotel. Pondok (2x) which means cottage and resor (2x) which means resort usually has some separated buildings or rooms, instead of one single big building like a hotel.
