Mandalika is a tourism area which is located in Central Lombok regency, West Nusa Tenggara -NTB. Since 2017, Mandalika has been inaugurated as a Special Economic Zone of tourism which is expected to be able to become a recreation area which is quite representative in Lombok because the area has been completed with some hotels and various recreation facilities. Today, Mandalika has7 beautiful natural tourism spots. One of them is Merese hill. The hill is the best spot to enjoy Mandalika panorama from the highland. The hill is located between Serenting and Tanjung Aan beaches. Climbing to the hill is quite fun and burns calories.
Having a wide area, the hill has many choices of places and backgrounds to take pictures on it. Visitors can look through Tanjung Aan or Serenting beaches. All panoramas are beautiful. The most amazing point on the Merese hill is on the top. You should go through a winding path to go there. Merese hill is a fun and comfortable place every time, especially at night and in the morning. There is no special facility on the hill. If you want to eat or drink, you can come to a restaurant or café outside the area and the distance is not too far away. To go to the Merese hill which is located on Jalan Kuta Lombok, Pujut, Central Lombok, you may spend 2 hours from Mataram City or 40 minutes from international airport in Lombok by using motor vehicles.
Labengki Island is located in Labengki Island, Lasolo district, North Konawe regency, Southeast Sulawesi. The distance is around 70 kilometers from Kendari City. The island consists of some clusters of big and small atolls.
From Kendari City, you can go directly to Kendari seaport. From the port, you can rent a boat to Labengki Island. The tariff to rent it depends on the agreement between you and the boat owner. The trip takes around 4 until 5 hours depending on weather.

In additional to diving, another activity which can be conducted on Labengki Island is fishing. Some kinds of fish, which can be caught, are grouper, barracuda, sailfish, yellow fin tuna, and red snapper. If you catch the fish, it can be grilled and becomes your dinner.
Who thinks that Indonesia has a giant rock as high as 1002 meters above sea level. Its name is Bukit Kelam which is located in Sintang Regency, West Kalimantan. Bukit Kelam is the largest boulder in the world. What makes it interesting is that the hill is not from the ground, but it is from a large rock. It is named dark because the rock is dark black. The hill which is about 23 kilometers from the center of Sintang Regency can be reached about 30 to 40 minutes until the valley of the hill.
Bukit Kelam is one of tourism destinations that must be visited, particularly for natural lovers of tourism and rock climbing. There are flora and fauna, unique natural scenery, and caves. Of course, the rock wall for international scale climbing is found in Bukit Kelam. One of the floras only exists in Sintang Hill and it is not in the other hemisphere, namely the endemic plant, nephentes clipeata (Kantung Semar). It is reddish color, this Kantung Semar grows in crevices of steep cliffs on the Bukit Kelam rocks, at 600 to 800 meters high above sea level. It is unique due to existing at the top part and it is like a funnel, and at the bottom, it is round like a ball. Besides Kantung Semar, Bukit Kelam is also as a home for black orchids.
There is also a waterfall in Bukit Kelam. The water in this giant rock area is a source of people life, a source of bottled water and even a source of electric power generator used by the people of Sintang. In addition, there are also caves for caving lovers. The most popular caves are the swallow cave and the bat cave. To see the beauty wonder of Bukit Kelam Dark, you must climb to the top. For those who are not used to climbing, it takes 3 to 4 hours to reach the top of the hill. With a slope of 15 to 40 degrees, there is an iron ladder to facilitate climbing. Puncak Bukit Kelam is the best place to see the sunrise and sunset.
Laiwangi-Wanggameti National Park is a flora and fauna protected region on Sumba Island, East Nusa Tenggara. It is located in the South of Sumba Island and has a distance around 100 kilometers from Waingapu. Sangiang is a small island in the Strait of Sunda, namely between Java and Sumatra island. Administratively, this island belongs to the area of Serang regency, Banten province. There are a lot of Indonesian traditions which are conducted after Idul Fitri. One of them is Ngubek Lewi tradition. Ngubek Leuwi is a fishing activity carried out by the community together in the Cipasarangan river, Garut Regency, West Java. The tradition is an expression of gratitude of the people of Cikelet over some goodness given by the God, particularly health after performing fasting for one month in holy Ramadan. They complete their happiness with their relatives at Lebaran day. The tradition is also held to improve awareness toward river flow area that supports their life.
The Ngubek Leuwi tradition is usually held 2 days after Idul Fitri. Before the tradition is held, a few weeks earlier, dozens of quintals of catfish, goldfish, tilapia and Tawes are put into the Cipasarangan river with average weight of 4 to 6 ounces per fish. Those fishes will be contested by the residents. When the Ngubek Leuwi tradition is held, previously, the residents hold 'kawin cai', which means to take water from springs such as in the Dukuh villages and Ciroyom by using Lodong or bamboo about one meter long. Then, the water is poured together on the bridge that is deliberately built. During the Ngubek Leuwi ritual, the local people go down directly into the Leuwi or deep river to do Ngubek or in the local language means fishing with their hands.
The tradition which has been done since 2010 is now includes in the Cipasarangan Festival agenda. This festival is an annual activity that is routinely carried out by presenting cultural arts performances as well as various local wisdoms which grow and develop in the Cikelet region. Besides Ngubek Leuwi tradition, there are various traditional arts such as Pencak Silat (martial arts) and traditional music, such as festivals of terbang (rebana) gembrung or terbang sejakat.
Bagedur beach has white sand with huge waves. Various trees grow lush and shady around the beach. Its solid sand makes the beach be able to be passed by motor vehicles, so that the beach often becomes place for motorcycles’ race. The distance of Bagedur from Jakarta is around 200 kilometers by taking around 6 hours. While from Serang, the capital city of Banten is around 130 kilometers by taking 4 and half hours.
The Orchid Forest in Lembang, West Java is the largest orchid park in Indonesia. At this forest, there are around 157 varieties of orchid which are cultivated in 12-hectare land. The seeds of those orchids come from various countries, such as Venezuela, United States of America and Peru. Tangkuban Perahu region. During the trip, you should watch the road side until you find Orchid Forest Lembang at Cikole gate. The Orchid Forest opens every day, starting from 9 am for weekdays and 8 am for weekends until 6 pm of local time.
Forty-six kilometers from Kupang, the capital city of East Nusa Tenggara, there is a tourism object which is visited by many tourists, namely Camplong Natural Tourism Park. This 2000-hectare tourism park is a natural habitat for hundreds of endemic flora and fauna of the island of Timor.
In addition, the park also has natural resources, such as springs, basin which is formed naturally, and natural cave. This cave is usually used for cave’s searching activity. There is also an artificial cave which was made by Japan in the colonial era.
Besides searching the cave, you can also do cross country. You do not have to be worried about getting lost when doing cross country, because there is path through the tourism forest which has been prepared to make easy the visitors doing the cross country.
The main aspect of the Camplong Natural Park is that there are various kinds of flora and fauna. Most of them are categorized as rare ones. You can also find animal of original endemic which lives wildly such as black- back pigeon. Camplong forest is also grown by sandalwood which is endemic plants of Timor Island.
The forest area, which was the first time determined as tourism park in 1929, is located at the side of road to Soe City, Fatuleu district in Kupang regency. The location can be accessed from Kupang to Camplong forest by public transportation to Soe or by private motor vehicles.
