President Joko Widodo emphasized that Indonesia's candidacy to host the 2032 Olympics was not to be "dashing", but to raise the nation's image and dignity. This was stated by the President in a virtual limited meeting regarding Indonesia's plan to host the 2032 Olympics at the State Palace in Jakarta, Wednesday (4/11).

The President instructed his staff to prepare sports infrastructure, improve coaching for athletes, global visibility for Indonesia regarding potential hosts for the 2032 Olympics, and so forth. According to President Joko Widodo, the Asian Games and Asian Para Games in 2018 have been successfully held by Indonesia. This opens up the confidence and eyes of the world that Indonesia is capable of being a good host in international events. To host the 2032 Olympics, Indonesia is expected to compete with Australia, Germany, Korea Unification, Qatar, and China. The selection process for the 2032 Olympics will be held in 2023 and the results are determined in 2024.

The Indonesian e-sports team Bigetron Red Aliens (BTR) is determined to become world champion again at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship Season Zero (PMGC) which will be held online at the end of November. This was said by BTR player, Made Bagus "Luxxy" Prabaswara in a virtual press conference that was followed in Jakarta, Tuesday (3/11). When asked about the preparations for realizing their targets on this prestigious stage, Nizar "Microboy" Lugatio Pratama explained that currently, his team will only focus on practice and continue to analyze the strategies of all teams to find out the abilities of each player who will become rivals later.

Bigetron Red Aliens is the world champion of PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) Fall Split Global Finals 2019 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. With this status, BTR is optimistic that it can get rid of its competitors and defend its title as world champion. Bigetron Red Aliens previously had the right to represent Indonesia at the world level tournament after winning the PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) SEA Finals Season 2 for the Southeast Asia region last October. They successfully defeated 15 of the best teams in Southeast Asia in 15 matches that were held over three days. Apart from Indonesia, there are at least 21 countries that will participate in the tournament, including Thailand, China, Vietnam, Turkey, Japan, Brazil, Russia, South Korea, Ukraine, France, and the United States.

The Executive Board of the Indonesian Fitness Bodybuilding Association (PP PBFI) announced that Indonesia will host the 2021 World Fitness Bodybuilding Championship. Secretary General of PP PBFI, Inge Inkiriwang in Jakarta, Tuesday, as quoted by Detiksport said, confirmation of hosting the World Championship was received after the general chairman PBFI, Irwan Alwi received a direct call from the President of the International Fitness Bodybuilding Federation (WBPF), Datok Paul Chua, who approved Indonesia to host the 2021 World Fitness Bodybuilding Championship.

In addition to informing Indonesia of the appointment of Indonesia to host the 2021 World Fitness Bodybuilding Championship, Paul Chua said that the Bodybuilding Fitness branch was officially competed in the SEA Games in Hanoi, Vietnam, which is planned to be held in November 2021.

Inge Inkiriwang, who is also a former national women's bicycle racing athlete, said the World Fitness Bodybuilding Championship will be held in Yogyakarta in December 2021. For this reason, PP PBFI will soon have intensive communication and coordination with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Central Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) for the success of the first world championship held in Indonesia.

Indonesian female fighter, Priscilla Hertati Lumban Gaol will fight against Chinese fighters at the One Championship event which will be held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Friday (6/11). In an official statement from ONE Championship on Wednesday, at ONE: INSIDE THE MATRIX II, Priscilla will take on Meng Bo, a veteran of China's elite who is renowned for being the only woman in the world to beat current UFC women's straw-weight champion Zhang Weili. Meng is also the 2nd female atom-weight contender in ONE Championship.

If Priscilla could beat Meng, it would certainly catapult her name in the official rankings, and even allow her to break into the top five. Thus, it is certain that tough competition will occur. Victory over Meng could be the ticket to becoming world champion.

The Indonesian Embassy in Singapore attempts to ensure that the rights of Indonesian Migrant Workers are fulfilled.

The Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) in Singapore stated that it will try to ensure that the rights of Indonesian migrant workers from Pati, Central Java, who experienced violence while working in Singapore, are fulfilled. In its written statement received by Antara News Agency on Wednesday (4/11), the embassy reported that the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore has sent a letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore to follow up the reports of violence committed by Singaporean citizen against Indonesian workers from Pati.

On Tuesday (3/11), the Indonesian Embassy received an official report from the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (BP2MI) Semarang related to the violence experienced by Sugiyem, a worker from Pati, while working in Singapore. Sugiyem is recorded that she has worked in Singapore through a direct recruitment process in Batam since 2015 and at that time, she has moved from her jobs at least twice. The Indonesian Embassy in Singapore also gave Sugiyem the Indonesian Worker Card in Singapore in 2017 so that she could contact the representative office if she has problems related to work problems. However, after moving from her job at the last workplace, Sugiyem admitted being unable to communicate because her employer held her cell phone. Then, Sugiyem in her sick condition was sent back to Indonesia on October 23, 2020 by her employer.  Sugiyem also gave testimony that she has often received physical violence on her head, face, ears, back, hands and eyes from her employer since 2019.  The Indonesian Embassy in Singapore had checked Sugiyem's employer address and made sure that Sugiyem worked in the country through legal procedures. The Indonesian Embassy reported the case to relevant agencies in Singapore, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Manpower and the police. Moreover, the Indonesian Embassy holds close coordination with relevant agencies in Indonesia to collect testimony regarding with the violence suffered by Sugiyem.

Now, I am going to introduce some vocabularies and expressions related to the topic today.

If you want to ask about the way or process, you can use the interrogative word bagaimana? In English ‘how’. To ask about the way, people usually use the expression bagaimana cara….? Which means ‘how to ….’ Like in the sentence Bagaimana cara membeli pulsa listriknya? Which means ‘how to buy electricity credit?’. To respond the expression Bagaimana cara ...?, you have to mention the process consecutively like the following example:

Kevin         : Bagaimana cara membeli pulsa listrik? In English ‘how to buy electricity credit?’

Rama         : Kamu bisa beli pulsa listrik di situs belanja daring. Caranya, pilih bagian pulsa dan tagihan, klik bagian listrik PLN. Selanjutnya,  masukkan nomor meter atau ID pelanggan, pilih jumlah pulsa, lalu bayar menggunakan opsi transfer bank... in English ‘you can buy electricity credit on the online shopping site. The ways are to select credit and bill, and then to click PLN. Afterward, enter the meter number or customer ID, select the number of credits you will buy, then pay by transfer bank option.’

In the Indonesian language, conjunction can be used to mention sequence of process, for example: kemudian, lalu, selanjutnya, and setelah itu in English ‘then’, ‘afterward’. The conjunction is also usually used to connect a main sentence with the clause.

For example: Masukkan nomor meter atau ID pelanggan, kemudian pilih jumlah pulsa  in English ‘enter meter numbers or customer ID, then select number of credits’.

Ciletuh Geopark area offers a number of interesting tourism attractions that are located close to each other. Walking around this tourism area is an interesting activity that can be done on weekends. If the trip starts from Jakarta, the distance to the first tourism spot by car is 161 kilometers, or about 4 hours 36 minutes. To avoid congestion, it is better if the trip starts in the morning at around 06:00 WIB. Don't forget to have breakfast and check on your private car to keep your trip safe. You can start a road trip at Geopark Cileuteuh the next day at Puncak Darma and enjoy the sunrise which makes the road trip experience even more enjoyable. From there, various views can be seen from Ciletuh Bay, which is shaped like a horseshoe, rows of cliffs, rice fields to Ciletuh Geopark beach.

After enjoying the view at Puncak Darma, you can continue your journey to Curug Dogdog which is only 1.5 kilometers or about four minutes by car. Curug Dogdog is located in Cimarinjung Village, Ciemas District. This tourism spot has a beautiful rock formation. However, you are not recommended to climb these rocks because the rocks are very slippery. There is a small pool with a very beautiful waterfall. You can enjoy the beauty of the waterfall while enjoying your lunch at a stall that is available in the area. The next tourism spot that can be visited is Cimarinjung waterfall in Ciemas District. The distance from Curug Dogdog is 800 meters or about two minutes by motor vehicles. Even though the location is more remote, the waterfall which is on the border of Girimukti Village and Ciwaru Village has its own charm. Being in a remote area makes Cimarinjung waterfall has fresh water. However, you are advised not to play its water because the water flow is quite heavy. To end the first day of the road trip, you can stay at Vanada Bugeul on Jalan Cimarinjung, Ciwaru, Ciemas District.

The second day, you can start your trip to Palangpang Beach to see sunrise, go fishing or buy fresh fish from the local fish auction or take pictures at the Ciletuh Geopark monument. This tourism spot is located 850 meters from the lodging or about two minutes by car. Then, you can continue your adventure to cross to Kunti Island by renting a boat for Rp 400,000. The boat can accommodate more than seven people. Boat rentals can be found in the Ciwaru area. The scenery on this island is extraordinarily beautiful. The island faces directly to the Indian Ocean and has a beautiful stretch of white sand. There are also rocks that arise on the sand. After enjoying lunch in the Ciwaru area, you can go straight to Ujung Genteng Beach, located in Gunung Batu Village, Ciracap District. This sloping beach is surrounded by trees that makes the tourism area look beautiful. Apart from playing the sea water or relaxing on the beach and enjoying the beautiful stretch of white sand, you can also do selfies in a number of ruins of the buildings that were left over from the Dutch era.

After playing at the beach, you can go directly to Teletubbies Hill which is located only 4 kilometers or about 13 minutes from Ujung Genteng Beach. The panorama of the beautiful green hills is similar with the hills in the children's film television series, Teletubbies. The difference is that  there is a lake there which makes the expanse of the savanna look more attractive. While you are there, besides being able to take pictures, you can also have a picnic around the lake while enjoying the view. In addition, you can also set up a tent if you want to take a break before starting your trip to the next tourism spot. During a pandemic like this time, make sure that when you visit, you still obey the health protocols to prevent Covid-19, namely by wearing a mask, washing your hands with soap, keeping your distance, and not traveling if you have a fever or body temperature above 37.3 degrees Celsius.
