KLa Project is Indonesian music group which formed by Katon Bagaskara as vocalist, bassist, guitarist, Lilo (Romulo Radjadin) as guitarist and vocalist, Adi Adrian as keyboardist and piano player, and Ari Burhani as the drummer in 1986. The name KLa itself is taken from initials of this band’s personnel, while the small “a” is to indicate that there were two personnel who have the initials of the font.
The unique thing about KLa Project lies on its works. They present their songs with poetic lyrics and literary nuances, such as in the song "Terpuruk Ku Di Sini" in the Ungu album (1994). The word "tersaput" means "closed". Meanwhile, “palung” is a chasm at the bottom of the sea which then makes the phrase "menggigil palung hati" can be interpreted to feel shivering to the deepest heart.//voinews/irh
