Govt Outlines Three Main Agendas For Development of Human Resources

VOINews, Jakarta - Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs Muhadjir Effendy outlined three priority programs to create superior human resources.

"President Joko Widodo has given a target that must be achieved to prepare superior human resources with competency in order to prepare for (realizing the) 2045 Golden Indonesia vision, which is pursued through three priority programs," Minister Effendy stated here on Wednesday.

The three priority programs in question are stunting prevalence reduction, extreme poverty eradication, as well as revitalization in education and vocational training, he elaborated.

Effendy reminded that the deadline for those three priority programs was in 2024. Hence, the minister pushed for extensive efforts to complete those priority agendas.

The minister highlighted some of the efforts that include refreshing the organizational structure by promoting and transferring officials across all scopes.

On Wednesday, some officials in the ministry were sworn in to office by the minister in accordance with Presidential Decree Number 56/TPA of 2023 on termination and promotion of officials in the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs.

He expected that the people selected by the relevant team have the required ethics that is vital in conducting bureaucracy.

"This is time for you all to show your might, particularly in terms of transferring experiences in order to (advance) innovations," he remarked.

He also called on everyone in the ministry to collaborate and pursue betterment of the future.

"There is only one and a half year left to pursue the National Medium Term Development Plan and national target, particularly in terms of development. Therefore, give your best, considering the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs has to work hard to complete the priority agendas," he concluded.  (Antaranews)
