The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate (PJS) condemned the arrest of one of the journalists of WAFA News Agency, Rasha Hirzallah, by Israel as part of the increasingly rampant harassment and targeting of journalists.
Quoted by Antara from WAFA, Monday (3/6), PJS said, Hirzallah's arrest reveals the extent to which the Israeli occupation targets and persecutes journalists.
The nongovernmental organization also urged international institutions to bear a shared responsibility to stop the occupation's continuing crimes against Palestinian journalists, including arrests and killings. (Antara)
