The commemoration of the 60 Years of Indonesia Japan Diplomatic Relations attended by Japanese Prime Minister's Special Envoy Toshihiro Nikai,  Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla,  Japanese Ambassador to Indonesia and some Indonesian Cabinet Ministers was held at Bali Room, Kempinski Hotel,  Jakarta,  20 January,  2018. The commemoration was initiated by Japanese traditional Drum performance and Indonesian Traditional Dance performance from West Java.  

The opening of commemoration of 60 Years of Indonesia-Japan Diplomatic Relations was also marked by the beating of Japanese drum and the launching of special stamp on the 60 Years of Indonesia-Japan Diplomatic Relations created by Krisna Setiawiratama, an Indonesian high school student in East Java.
