The US government has released the names of three troops killed by an enemy drone attack in Jordan on Sunday.
Sergeant William Jerome Rivers, 46, Specialist Kennedy Ladon Sanders, 24, and Specialist Breonna Alexsondria Moffett, 23, were killed when a drone hit their housing unit.
As reported by BBC.com (30/1) the US has blamed Iranian-backed groups and the Pentagon said it carried the "footprints" of Kataib Hezbollah.

The UN said it was taking “swift action” in response to allegations in the past few days that several employees of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East participated in the Oct. 7 attacks on Israel.
As quoted by Arabnews.com (30/1) Stephane Dujarric, spokesperson for Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, said an investigation by the UN’s Office of Internal Oversight Services was immediately launched.
According to Dujarric, any employee involved in acts of terror will be held accountable, including through criminal prosecution. (Arabnews.com)
Jakarta, VOInews: Indonesian Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno appreciated Indonesia's success at the 2024 ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) and TRAVEX (Travel Exchange). This was conveyed by Minister Sandiaga Uno at “The Weekly Brief With Sandi Uno” in Jakarta on Monday (29/1).
The minister said, "There is also TRAVEX (Travel Exchange) 2024 where the government initially targets 22 billion transaction value. But Praise to God, the government has almost doubled per closing which reached 41 billion rupiah with almost 20,000 visits."
Besides exceeding the target at TRAVEX 2024, Minister Sandiaga further said that several Indonesian hotels had succeeded in receiving awards from the Laotian government in 4 categories, namely the ASEAN Sustainable Tourism Award, ASEAN Clean Tourist City Award, ASEAN Green Hotel Award and ASEAN MICE Venue Award.
Besides, in the series of ATF 2024 events, Indonesia also succeeded in reaching an agreement to hold two international events with UN Tourism in 2024, namely the Indonesia Tourism Investment Forum in Jakarta and the Regional Conference on Women Empowerment in Tourism in Bali

This request was made by President Joko Widodo when delivering his remarks at the inauguration of Graha Utama Akmil building in Magelang,Central Java on Monday (29/1).
The president hope that "with the addition of these educational facilities, the Military Academy Magelang will become more advanced, produce more advanced and professional soldiers who are ready to dedicate their best abilities to maintaining unity and sovereignty nation in realizing Indonesia's progress."
Moreover, according to President Joko Widodo, in order to respond to various changes that are happening very quickly, prospective Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI) soldiers who are studying at the Military Academy must be equipped with material on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The President considers this material to be very important in development and mastery of various main weapons systems equipped with advanced technology.
