Several Ethiopian universities are keen to establish cooperation with their Indonesian counterparts in the field of research and exchange of teaching staff and students. Indonesian Ambassador to Ethiopia, Djibouti and African Union Al Busyra Basnur said representatives of Bahir Dar University and Hawassa, University of Ethiopia visited several universities in Indonesia in 2016 and 2018 as part of effort to explore the cooperation. In 2016, Bahir Dar University and Sebelas Maret University in Surakarta, Central Java, signed the first memorandum of understanding between institutes of higher learning in the two countries. The Indonesian Embassy in Addis Ababa had originally planned to organize several activities involving institutes of higher learning in Indonesia and Ethiopia in the first semester of 2020 however, the activities were postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Another Indonesian university that is also keen to cooperate with Ethiopian university is Budi Luhur University in Jakarta. He expressed hope that a delegation of the university will visit Ethiopia soon after the COVID-19 pandemic is under control//ANT

Minister of Health Terawan Agus Putranto issued a Minister of Health Decree No. HK.01.07/MENKES/328/2020 (Decree), which provides guideline on preventing Covid-19 transmission at offices and for industry sectors. In the Decree, Terawan instructed companies to determine essential workers that need to work at the office and workers that can do their tasks from home. Terawan also instructed that office main entrances should be equipped with thermogun to measure workers' body temperature. In addition, Terawan instructed for work hours to be shortened and no overtime. Long work hours and overtime will reduce workers' resting hours and will lower his/her immunity. Terawan also mandated workers to use face masks during their trip to the office and while at the office. In addition, companies also instructed to fulfill food nutrition for its employees. The Decree suggested companies to provide fruits with a high level of vitamin C//Tempo

Minister of Communication and Informatics Johnny G Plate thanked the people for not coming back to their hometown, and for gathering with their families virtually during Eid Al-Fitr. Johnny guaranteed that digital gatherings during this year's Eid Al-Fitr will run normally with prime services. Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati called on the Indonesian people to be able to fight the COVID-19 pandemic in the midst of the unusual Eid Al-Fitr 1441 Hijri celebration.
