I am feeling so happy towrite you that Indonesian President H.E.Mr. Joko Widodo and
First Lady Madam Iriana Widodo will pay a two day state visitto Pakistan on January
26 to January 27, 2018, A high level delegation will be accompanied bywith
him.President Mamnoon Hussain willhold a state banquet for his Indonesian
counterpart, who will also address ajoint session of the parliament 6pm Pakistani
time and 8pm Indonesian time will be.
President Widodo will also hold ameeting with Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Shahid
Khaqan Abbasi.
Pakistani electronic and print media is publishing and broadcasts special reports
and latest news in Pakistani national language Urdu and English.
Pakistan & Indonesia have excellent, cordial and great relations. Bilateral trade
between Pakistan and Indonesia is around 2.1 Billion US dollars.
Pakistan is one the largest importers of Indonesian palm oil. During recent years,
bilateral political, parliamentary, economic, defence and people to people contacts
have seen a substantial increase and hope during the visit of Indonesian President
visit to Pakistan bilateral brotherly relations will be more strengthen and will
touch new heights.
