Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno believes that the 2020 Indonesian MotoGP will be beneficial for economic revival, especially in boosting the performance of MSMEs in the Mandalika area, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
Minister Sandiaga Uno during the Meeting of the National Committee to Support the Implementation of the 2022 MotoGP at Novotel Mandalika, on Tuesday explained, MSMEs players will receive promising economic blessings, because the international racing event is predicted to be attended by thousands of visitors from various countries. and homeland.
“MotoGP is very beneficial for the local community's economy, especially MSMEs. This is certain, and the government pays special attention. For this reason, we continue to prepare for the implementation of the 2022 Indonesian MotoGP so that its implementation later in March can run smoothly," Minister Sandiaga said.
"Of the 9 main issues, there is significant progress. It is planned that President Joko Widodo will directly review the preparations for MotoGP, which is a symbol of economic revival," the Minister said.
Minister Sandiaga explained that related to the issues currently being faced, all of them could be found a good solution. Regarding MSMEs, they have also shared tasks with the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs.
He also stated that he would cooperate with various parties to provide flexibility to the creative and creative sectors in promotional events.
“The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy will handle the digital side and promotion, while the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs will handle the physical.
