Bali is included in the list of the 50 Most Beautiful Places in the World 2022 version of Time magazine based in New York, United States. In choosing the most beautiful places in the world, Time has selected beautiful places that tourists can visit after the Covid-19 pandemic. Time compiled this list of places by requesting place nominations from its international network of correspondents and contributors. The goal, to offer a variety of new and interesting experiences.

Through the selection, a number of the best places were obtained, including Boracay Island in the Philippines which was closed for years due to overtourism or excessive tourist visits and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
