Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno denied the issue of a ban on organizing events until December 2022. This was followed by many incidents, especially music concerts in recent times.

He said that organizing events was still allowed but had to pay attention to the implementation of health protocols. And security so that it can provide a sense of security and comfort for all.

"Regarding the issue that the event should not be held until December is completely untrue. This issue is very counterproductive to the music concert business in the country," he said in a statement received by RRI, Friday (11/11/2022).

President Jokowi said Sandiaga had allowed the holding of events including music concerts. Also cultural events provided that health and safety protocols are met.

"We have compiled a CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety, Environment Sustainability) manual as a guide. So that the event can still be held but with a strict protocol," he said.

Event organizers must be able to manage activities professionally. One of them is by paying attention to the carrying capacity aspect.

"This significant increase in audience visits must be well anticipated by the event organizers. The first is about carrying capacity.

Activity organizers must also have an early warning system to be able to provide information. How many people are in one activity or location.

"So that it can reduce the potential of the crowd. As well as the availability of evacuation routes and health services," he said, affirming.

He confirmed, his party will facilitate the existing event. Please present the event plan, we will collaborate with the National Police, the Covid-19 Task Force, and the Ministry of Health," he said.

"It will also issue a letter of recommendation. But for a crowd permit, of course, it will be issued by the Police," said Sandiaga. (RRI)
