The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) stated that the domestic industry can drive the national economy. Then a program for Increasing the Use of Domestic Products (P3DN) was carried out.

"The Ministry of Industry also makes it easier to arrange Domestic Content Level certificates (TKDN). TKDN registration is free, then it takes five days at the most,” said the Head of the Center for Increasing the Use of Domestic Products, Nila Kumalasari, during a conversation with Pro3 RRI, Wednesday (30/11/2022).

He said products with TKDN and Company Benefit Weight (BMP) above 40 percent had mandatory purchase requirements. So the small industry became the hero of this country.

"Because 40 percent of this import is prohibited. Many small industries have TKDN of 40 percent," he said.

Application of TKDN certification has its own advantages. Namely TKDN certified products can be used in the government procurement process.

Products with a TKDN value greater than or equal to 25 percent will be given preference. In the form of the highest price of domestic products 25 percent.

For the TKDN certification process, through Permenperin No 57 of 2006 appointed PT Surveyor Indonesia (PTSI) and PT Sucofindo. That is to verify the correctness of the TKDN achievements. (RRI)
