The Ministry of Finance is still reviewing changes to the scope and timeframe for placing export proceeds (DHE) in the country. Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati said this at the Presidential Palace area, Jakarta, Thursday.

Sri Mulyani said the coordinating ministers would immediately invite Bank Indonesia to discuss changes to the DHE storage rules.

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) previously ordered ministers to review changes to Government Regulation (PP) No. 1 of 2019 concerning Export Proceeds from Business Activities. Management and or Processing of Natural Resources.

The President wants export growth to be in line with the growth in foreign exchange reserves.

According to the Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto. there will be an expansion of industrial sectors that are required to store DHE domestically. (antaranews)
