Introduction and understanding of the culture of other countries is one of the soft diplomacy that is often carried out by several countries.
One manifestation of this diplomacy is the internship program for foreign students and students from one country to another.
Resident Director of, Australian Consortium for Country Indonesian Studies ACICIS for Indonesia, Adrian M Budiman told Voice of Indonesia in Jakarta, Thursday, said ACICIS is part of Australia's soft diplomacy program.
He hopes that internship students in Indonesia will get positive things from placement in Indonesia

According to Adrian, the Australian students were in Indonesia for 6 weeks, 2 weeks of language preparation and socialization and 4 weeks of placement in the field according to the field of study carried out and of interest to each student.
In Indonesia, students are placed in several institutions and institutions such as in the fields of Journalism, Law, economics, agriculture both government and private.
The Australian student placement activity is one of the programs of the New Colombo plan which has been implemented by the Australian government for a long time. (VOI/mstn)
