"So that Indonesian citizens who live there can still receive information about the conditions of their country... They really need entertainment and information from Indonesia," he said on Monday (19/2/2024).
Through this collaboration, Indonesian citizens in Hong Kong can listen to or watch information produced by RRI via RTHK. A special program as a part of the collaboration is planned to be broadcast on the RRI's overseas broadcaster Voice of Indonesia.
Previously, the RRI had also collaborated on a broadcast program with Chinese state-owned broadcaster, China Media Group (CMG) called Tiongkok dalam Layar ("China on Screen"). Through this program, the RRI will broadcast documentary films about local Chinese wisdom on its domestic visual radio channel, RRI NET, as well as on the RRI Digital application.
Furthermore, the RRI sent its superior documentary films from across Indonesia to be shown on CMG channels. "This is an effort to introduce Indonesian culture to China, and vice versa," said Hendrasmo. (RRI/Aditya Prabowo)
