The Indonesian government wants a two-state solution, namely Israel and Palestine living side by side in accordance with international parameters.

This was said by the Director General of Asia Pacific and Africa of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abdul Kadir Jailani in an online discussion in Jakarta, Monday (3/6)// Abdul explained that the two-state solution desired by Indonesia is the establishment of a Palestinian state with borders determined in 1967.

The second parameter is the cessation of construction of Jewish settlements in the West Bank. The third is the right of the Palestinians to return to their homeland.

The last and more important parameter according to Abdul is Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine.

According to Abdul Kadir, the two-state solution is a very difficult thing, because at this time Israel firmly rejects it. (Antara)
