VOINews, Jakarta: The upcoming Megabuild Indonesia 2025 is set to take place twice this year—first on April 24-27 and then again on November 13-16—at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), promising a fresh rebranding that highlights sustainable innovation in the building materials, construction, architecture, and interior design sectors. Organized by Panorama Media, the event aims to become a major platform for industry professionals to explore the latest trends and technologies while addressing the growing demand for eco-friendly building solutions.

Royanto Handaya, CEO of Panorama Media, emphasized the significance of the event, stating, “With a strong economic growth and an increasing need for innovative and sustainable building solutions, Megabuild Indonesia 2025 is here to meet these challenges. We want to bridge the gap between innovation and market needs in building smart and sustainable infrastructure.” This vision aligns with the event’s goal of positioning itself as a key player in driving the development of the construction sector in Indonesia.

Supported by the Indonesian Interior Designers Association (HDII) and the Indonesian Architects Association (IAI), Megabuild Indonesia 2025 aims to support the growth of the construction industry, which saw an impressive 7.29 percent growth in the second quarter of 2024. With the industry showing positive momentum, this exhibition seeks to capitalize on the current economic climate by introducing cutting-edge solutions that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also environmentally responsible.

The new and modernized concept of Megabuild Indonesia 2025 revolves around two main themes: “Innovating for Sustainable Tomorrow” and “Designing for Inspired Living.” These themes are intended to highlight the latest innovations in building materials, interior design, and sustainable construction technologies, reflecting the industry’s shift towards environmentally friendly practices. The exhibition’s rebranding is designed to appeal to a diverse audience, including architects, interior designers, contractors, and distributors.

By focusing on sustainable innovation, Megabuild Indonesia 2025 hopes to set new benchmarks in the industry. The event will feature various exhibitors showcasing advancements in energy-efficient materials, green building technologies, and smart home solutions. In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to engage directly with industry leaders, gaining insights into the future of construction and design. This approach aligns with the broader trend of integrating sustainability into the built environment.

Beyond the exhibition, Megabuild Indonesia 2025 will host a series of conferences that delve into key topics related to building material innovations, interior design trends, and the latest in construction technology. These sessions will offer participants a chance to gain in-depth knowledge from experts, fostering a deeper understanding of how sustainable practices can be implemented in real-world projects. The conference aspect of the event is expected to draw a large audience of professionals eager to learn and network.

As Indonesia’s construction industry continues to evolve, the need for events like Megabuild Indonesia becomes more crucial. Royanto Handaya expressed optimism that the event would not only serve as a showcase for new products and technologies but also act as a catalyst for the entire sector. “We believe this exhibition will be a significant driver for the development of the construction and design industries in Indonesia,” he said. His comments reflect the broader ambition of Megabuild to influence the direction of the industry through its emphasis on sustainable solutions.

Megabuild Indonesia 2025 will provide a unique opportunity for local and international players to exchange ideas, form partnerships, and explore business opportunities in one of the fastest-growing markets in Southeast Asia. The presence of key industry associations and stakeholders is expected to lend further credibility and attract a high-level audience, making it a must-attend event for professionals looking to stay ahead of industry trends.

Ultimately, the dual editions of Megabuild Indonesia 2025 signify not only the growth of the event itself but also the increasing relevance of sustainability and innovation in the region’s construction and design industries. As the industry adapts to new challenges and opportunities, this exhibition promises to be a pivotal moment in shaping the future of building in Indonesia./ANTARA/VOI
