After meeting Pakistani PM, President Joko Widodo Directly Heads to Bangladesh Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat

On the fourth day of his five-nation visit, on Saturday, January 27, 2018, Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was welcomed by Pakistani Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi at Prime Minister's House, Islamabad, Pakistan. After the state ceremony, President Jokowi held a Tete-a-Tete meeting with PM Abbasi. The event was then followed by a bilateral meeting, the signing of a memorandum of understanding on energy and trade, ending with a luncheon with PM Abbasi. All these activities are held at the Prime Minister's Office, PM House. At noon at approximately 12:30 pm Local Time or 14:30 West Indonesia TIme, President and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo with the entourage will continue the state visit to the fourth country, namely Bangladesh. Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Bangladesh Rina Soemarno said that President Jokowi's visit is a highly anticipated state visit because this is the first visit since 15 years. //// (Release of Protocol, Press and Media Secretariat of the President)
