RRI's 75th Anniversary, Director Thanks Staffers

President Director Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI), M. Rohanudin, opened the RRI's 75th Anniversary Ceremony in Jakarta, on Friday.

"I would like to express my gratitude and highest appreciation to the RRI staffers throughout the country, who continue to work and make achievements," he said.

He told all staffers to stay enthusiastic about celebrating the day despite many changes in their course of work because of the pandemic.

"The various programs and activities that we have planned must change completely, according to conditions. All of this should not diminish our gratitude in commemorating the 75th anniversary of RRI," he said.

"This ceremony is an important moment to remind us of the determination contained in Tri Prasetya RRI as well as to make changes in the way we work" he added.

Rohanudin also encourage all the RRI staff to remain productive amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Discipline, mindset, flexibility, speed and accuracy and the use of technology must be a priority," he said.

The theme of the 75th anniversary of the radio republic of Indonesia "Awakening for Advanced Indonesia".

"This spirit must be reflected in providing information and entertainment services to people in Indonesia, through various broadcast programs that not only present information but also to act as a literacy medium educate the public," he said.

Romanudin said that RRI has proved itself, both at the international and national levels, through various awards it won.

"RRI also has presented new programs according to the people's needs during the Covid-19 pandemic. To make it easier for the public to access RRI's services, we launched RRIPlay Go, an application to access a variety of multi-platform services," he said.

He added that RRI will continuously improve and optimizes governance in the services and business development sector, human resources, general affairs, and the financial sector. (RRI)
