President Joko Widodo left for Southeast Sulawesi Province for a working visit to inaugurate a sugar factory up to the Kendari Bay Bridge.

 

Together with a limited group, the Head of State took off for South Konawe Regency using the Indonesian Presidential Airplane from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, Thursday.

 

President Jokowi departed at around 07.00 WIB and arrived at the Haluoleo Air Force Base, Konawe Selatan at around 10:38 WITA.

 

The President immediately continued his journey to Bombana Regency with the Indonesian Air Force Super Puma helicopter.

 

During this working visit, the Head of State is scheduled to inspect the location of the sugarcane harvest and inaugurate a sugar factory in the district which is one of the sugar factories with the largest production volume in Indonesia.

 

Furthermore, President Jokowi will continue his journey to Kendari City to inaugurate the Kendari Bay Bridge.

 

The bridge was built to support the existing road network system in the local area and to support the process of accelerating the development of the Kendari City area.

 

After this activity, President Jokowi and his limited entourage will return to the Haluoleo Air Force Base, Konawe Selatan Regency, to return to Jakarta.

 

Participating in the flight to Southeast Sulawesi Province included Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, Presidential Military Secretary Maj. Gen. Suharyanto, and Paspampres Commander Major General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak. (Antaranews)
