'We Love Bali' Program Awakes Tourism Sector

Implementing the CHSE through the “We Love Bali” program is a momentum for the tourism sector to show its seriousness in providing health and safety insurance.

The committee “We Love Bali” from PT. Bintang Nusantara MICE, Putri Kesuma said that the implementation of the CHSE protocol has received support from the community, academics, entrepreneurs, and the media.

"The implementation of the CHSE is very important to show that Bali as an international tourist destination is committed and capable of implementing health protocols," said Putri, on Monday.

CHSE is an acronym for Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environment. This program is a plan of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy when it enters a new life order.

He admitted, 'We Love Bali' also aims to provide education on implementing the CHSE protocol in Tourist Attractions and Tourism Villages.

Not only that, but this program is also to oversee the implementation of health protocols. They carry supervision out at the hotel where to stay and the DTW visited by filling out the CHSE Check List Form.

The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy together with the Bali Provincial Tourism Office and stakeholders have launched the 'We Love Bali' program. This program is a promotional event by visiting tourist attractions and tourist villages on the Island of the Gods. 'We Love Bali' which is expected to restore the tourism sector involves at least 4,400 participants.

The agenda of 'We Love Bali' is divided into small groups of 40 people. Each group takes one trip for 3 days 2 nights, by staying in turns in several tourist areas in Bali. "We Love Bali" is going on for 2 months, October-November 2020.

The program involved participants from lecturers, teachers, students, civil servants, employees of private companies, employees of tourism businesses, Pokdarwis, hobby communities, photographers, and others.

Participants will get facilities in the form of accommodation for 2 nights at a hotel or homestay set by the committee, consumption, transportation, DTW entrance tickets, rapid test fees, and other equipment.

Putri Kesuma explained that the 12 trip program from 23-25 ​​October 2020 was to Tabanan. The route that is being followed is Denpasar - Marga - Megati - Tanah Lot - Kediri and back to Denpasar. Participants departed from Denpasar to Marga and Megati. In Marga, participants visited the Margarana Heroes Cemetery and Pinge Tourism Village.

"They enjoyed agro-tourism with a beautiful rural atmosphere and stayed overnight in Megati. On the second day went to see the beauty of Tanah Lot and stayed at Tanah Lot. On the third day, they went to Kerambitan Tourism Village, they saw the typical entertainment of Puri Kerambitan Tektekan and the architecture of the castle. -Unique architectural temple in Nyambu Tourism Village," he explained. 

Meanwhile, members of the Bali Tourism Recovery Acceleration Team who accompanied the Ketut Jaman committee stated that they had prepared 12 travel routes for the “We Love Bali” program. All trips have received budget support from Kemenparkeraf. This visit will cover all districts/cities in Bali.

One of them is a 12 trip program from 23-25 ​​October 2020 to Denpasar - Marga - Megati - Tanah Lot - Kediri - Denpasar.

"With the technical implementation, the first participants will be divided into travel groups, each group comprising 40 people using 2 bus vehicles, each bus containing 20 passengers, who will go through 1 route out of 12 routes," he said.

"In every tourist attraction, we will involve MSMEs as a provider of souvenirs to be sold to the participants," he continued.
