This was stated by the President in a virtual limited meeting regarding Indonesia's plan to host the 2032 Olympics at the State Palace in Jakarta, Wednesday (4/11).

The President instructed his staff to prepare sports infrastructure, improve coaching for athletes, global visibility for Indonesia regarding potential hosts for the 2032 Olympics, and so forth. According to President Joko Widodo, the Asian Games and Asian Para Games in 2018 have been successfully held by Indonesia. To host the 2032 Olympics, Indonesia is expected to compete with Australia, Germany, Korea Unification, Qatar, and China.
