Tetebatu Village in Masbagik District, East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) is the representative of Indonesia in the Best Tourism Village UNWTO (United Nation World Tourism Organization) 2021 event. The participation of the Tetebatu tourism village has been confirmed after completing all the required competition documents and being registered through the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. Chairperson of the Tourism Village Association, West Nusa Tenggara, Ahyak Aminuddin explained that Tetebatu is worthy of representing Indonesia in the event because it is the initial milestone in the establishment of a tourism village in East Lombok. Tetebatu village has been a tourism village since the Dutch era. The location is under Mount Rinjani with an altitude of about 700 meters above sea level. In the past,  the Europeans who first came to Mataram used it as a place to rest, because of its coolness and tranquility. To get to the village, tourists have to take about 1.5 hours by motor vehicles from the downtown of Mataram City or 2 hours from Lombok International Airport.

To visit the tourism village of Tetebatu, as far as the eye can see, you will see the residents' rice fields. Located at the foot of Mount Rinjani, Tetebatu offers a quiet and cool rural where visitors can walk around the village through the green rice fields while enjoying its beautiful nature. If anyone loves photography, please visit this place in the afternoon to take a picture of the atmosphere from dusk to sunset with the stunning background of Mount Rinjani. In addition to enjoying the views of rice fields and mountains, visitors can also do bird watching and visit the monkey forest. There are also interesting tourism attractions to visit, such as Ulem-Ulem Waterfall, Swallow Bird Waterfall, Kokok Duren Waterfall, Seme Deye Waterfall, and Jeruk Manis Waterfall. The journey to the waterfall will pass through the village area and terraced rice fields.

In Tetebatu, visitors can also walk around the village and see plantations owned by the local people, such as coffee, cacao, cloves, and vanilla. Tetebatu is also known as a village with horticultural plantations. One of its mainstay commodities is nutmeg, one of which is processed into candied fruit for souvenirs. Tetebatu is also one of the unofficial hiking routes to Mount Rinjani. If visitors want to climb to Mount Rinjani with a different view, they can use this route. However, climbing the route in Tetebatu is not allowed to reach the peak of the mountain.Because it has been designated as a tourism area for a long time, Tetebatu has already provided lodging and homestays at residents' homes.

students of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences at Brawijaya University consisting of Indri Dwi Fitria, Rani Elvira, Jamiilah Zahrotul Jannah, Kevin, and Alfain Homis Fadil were inspired to make a body lotion that can prevent Covid-19. They made the body lotion because it was inspired by the widespread use of hand sanitizer which actually causes dehydration of the skin so that it becomes dry. According to the students, body lotion is still the solution for most people because it has benefits to  moisturize and nourish the skin. However, the use of synthetic ingredients, such as butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) and parabens in body lotions has a negative effect in long-term use and has been proven to be toxic and carcinogenic. To overcome this problem, the five students finally made a body lotion by utilizing the flavonoid content in Moringa leaves and the skin collagen of Catfish named MORISTIN. This innovation succeeded in obtaining research funding from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia in the 2021 Entrepreneurship Student Creativity Week.

Indri Dwi Fitria explained that the content of Moringa leaves, such as apiin, epicatechin and hesperetin, which has a good affinity for the active side of ACE2 (Angiotensin Converting Enzyme 2), can inhibit the SARS-Cov-2 interaction process. In addition, the collagen from catfish skin can be used to prevent premature aging, prevent wrinkles, moisturize the skin and increase skin elasticity. MORISTIN is a skin care product that is safe, healthy and it provides more protection whithout causing side effects when used regularly.

MORISTIN is formulated as an antiseptic body lotion that is rich in antioxidants; it enables the skin to be moist and healthy, protects from UV rays and avoids the threat of bacteria and viruses. MORISTIN comes in three variants, including Orange Fresh, Choco Melt, and Vanilla Sweet which are packaged in two sizes, 250 ml and 60 ml. PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia officially ended the almost one century of oil-gas block management in Rokan, Riau Province on Sunday (8/8). Now, state-owned PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan officially takes over the oldest oil and gas mine in Riau for the next 20 years. The takeover was in line with the government's mandate through the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry in 2018.

President Director of Chevron Pacific Indonesia, Albert Simanjuntak thanked for the trust given by the Indonesian government for Chevron in managing the Rokan block for 97 years and in making the block as the greatest oil producer in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Arifin Tasrif welcomed the Rokan takeover. He hopes that PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan could increase the oil and gas production in Rokan through a massive drilling investment.

Quoting the press release of the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry on August 8, Minister Arifin Tasrif hopes that PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan would submit a proposal for an aggressive production increase activity  for the remaining 2021 and beyond. He also explained that this must be Pertamina's commitment, considering the Rokan block is one of the biggest Working Areas in Indonesia with a strategic value in fulfilling the 1 million barrels per day of oil production target and 12 billion cubic feet gas production target by 2030.

Answering the minister's request, President Director of PT Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati  as the parent company of PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan said that the trust given by the government to manage the Rokan block will be carried out as best as they can for the people and the country. She further remarked that the Rokan working area management takeover by Pertamina as a state-owned company will give a bigger benefit for the country both from the management and revenue. She added that this will strengthen PT Pertamina, especially Pertamina Hulu Rokan, as the driver for national development and economy.

Until the end of 2021, Pertamina Hulu Rokan plans to drill 161 new wells, including the available wells from the previous operator's commitment. For 2022, Pertamina Hulu Rokan plans to drill around 500 new wells. This commitment is the biggest investment commitment and  number of wells among other oil and gas working areas in Indonesia.

Shows of strength and military cooperation are taking place in Asia. Three major countries, the United States, China, and Russia are holding  massive military exercises there.  If Russia holds joint military drills with China. The United States cooperates with South Korea, its ally on the Korean peninsula.

As reported by the French news agency, AFP, South Korea and the United States began holding preliminary joint military exercises Tuesday, August 10, before entering the full-scale Exercise from  August 16-26. The joint action of the two countries was immediately responded to by North Korea. Kim Yo-Jong, the younger brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, considers the joint military exercises a form of betrayal by South Korea. The accusation was made on the basis that communication between Seoul and Pyong Yang that had been cut off, was just  re-opened last month   in the hope that relations would improve.

At almost the same time, two close neighbors of the two Koreas, namely China and Russia, are also holding  military exercises. The location is indeed not in the eastern part which is close to the Korean peninsula. The joint Russian and Chinese exercises, which are being carried out on a large scale, take place in the northwestern region of China and involve at least 10,000 troops.

Seeing the selection of locations that are far from the Korean Peninsula when the United States and South Korea also hold military exercises, it can then be assumed that there are different objectives. Although both have interests and influence on the two Koreas, it seems that the joint Russian and Chinese exercises this time are meant as a show of strength against Europe and America.

The cold war, which gave rise to the terms west bloc and east bloc, politically ended with the dissolution of the Soviet Union. However, the struggle for influence between the big countries is still and will continue.

What is interesting now is the joining of Russia and China through large-scale military exercises. Even though it is just a joint military exercise, this could make the United States carry out new foreign strategies and policies, in anticipation of China and Russia's movements. As is known, the relationship between China and the United States, still has problems. Likewise between Washington and Moscow.

Efforts to find a balance of power and influence between the big countries have made the development of international politics more dynamic.
