More than 22 thousand volunteers have joined the Indonesian Task Force for the Acceleration of COVID-19 Response. As quoted by Antara News Agency,  Achmad Yurianto, the government spokesperson for COVID-19 handling on Wednesday stated that  over 22,000 volunteers have voluntarily registered with the Task Force for the Acceleration of COVID-19 Response at the national and regional level. He expressed his gratitude to volunteers for supporting the Task Force. He stated that he would like to thank the volunteers who have expressed their willingness to work together in an integrated system to overcome COVID-19.More than 800 hospitals owned by the central government, regional governments, state-owned enterprises (BUMN), the Indonesian Defense Forces (TNI), the Indonesian Police (Polri), and the private sector have been providing medical services to patients infected with the novel coronavirus disease//ant

Indonesia's trade balance recorded a surplus of US$743.4 million in March 2020, with exports valued at $14.09 billion and imports at $13.35 billion. As quoted by Antara News Agency,   Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Chief Suhariyanto stated in Jakarta on Wednesday that  surely, this figure is encouraging amid the current uncertain situation. President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has outlined four steps to optimize the domestic industry in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.As quoted by Antara News Agency, President Jokowi  during a limited cabinet meeting held via videoconferencing on Optimization of the Domestic Industry for COVID-19 Response from the Merdeka Palace on Wednesday stated that  the government  must look back at all the potential resources that we have in our country, especially the domestic industry for COVID-19, both the pharmaceutical raw material industry, related to PPE, masks, or those related to other industries. Twenty-four Indian members of the Jamaah Tabligh have been placed under quarantine at the propagation center of the Jami Al Hidayah Mosque in Gowa District, South Sulawesi Province, as part of coronavirus countermeasures. As quoted by Antara News Agency, Gowa District head Adnan Purichta Ichsan Yasin Limpo on Monday stated it (The news) is true that Indian nationals are now under special surveillance.
