The government said a number of delegates from the G20 Summit, including several heads of state, had arrived in Bali. A number of meeting agendas are also scheduled in the H-2 of the Summit, before the summit, on Tuesday (15/11/2022) and Wednesday (16/11/2022).

"Of course, there are bilateral talks between heads of state. The President (Joko Widodo) himself has also received bilateral talks from various heads of state," said the Main Expert of the Deputy for Political Information and Communication at the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) Yohanes Joko to Pro3 RRI, Sunday (11/13/2022).

"In addition, other fellow heads of state, while waiting for the summit (G20), on November 15," he said. In addition, he said, several heads of state had arrived in Bali.

"Yesterday, Saturday (12/11/2022), if I'm not mistaken, Chinese President Xi Jinping has arrived. Then, several countries, perhaps the American head of state (Joe Biden) will arrive today," said Yohanes.

He said that not only 17 G20 member heads of state would be present in Bali. "In total, 40 countries and world institutions were invited to the G20 summit," said Yohanes.

Yohanes said that three G20 heads of state were confirmed to be absent, namely from Brazil, Russia, and Mexico. They are Lula da Silva (President of Brazil), Vladimir Putin (President of Russia), and Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (President of Mexico).

"Infrastructure and all facilities are guaranteed to be 100 percent ready. But, once again, everything needs to be processed, let's keep this process together," said Yohanes.

He also gave an appeal to all Indonesian people. "I ask the Indonesian people, and in general, to ask for prayers and support. Because the success of this G20 Summit is our common success, the Indonesian nation," he said.

"Success is a contribution to the world, a contribution to humanity, and humanity," said Yohanes. He gave an example of the contribution that can be made by the community, especially in Bali.

"As conveyed by the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs (Mahfud MD) yesterday. We apologize for this G20 Summit, it might disturb the public and tourists in Bali," he said.

"However, this community sacrifice will certainly not be in vain, if we look at the effects and results. Both the economic effect, as well as the socio-political effect, are our common strengths," he said.

In addition, he invited all Indonesian people to monitor the implementation of the G20 Summit. "From various communication channels, and we strengthen knowledge about the G20 Summit," said Yohanes. (RRI)
