VOInews, Jakarta: The Indian Ministry of Defense held an India-Indonesia Defense Industry exhibition, Tuesday (30/4) in Jakarta. To the media, Indian Ambassador to Indonesia Sandeep Chakravorty said that the exhibition was a step in Indonesia-India cooperation in the defense sector.
“(It is our experience that we would like to share with you today and partner with you for long-term collaboration in the Defense Sector. Be it large and prominent platforms like ships, submarines, aircraft, armored vehicles, and satellites; and also in the areas of metallurgy, hydraulics, pneumatics, Al, munition, cyber, and the overall design, research & development, and exciting start-up ecosystem. We have also seen several of these technologies put to dwellings the civilian use such as satellite communication positioning service solutions and drones to the environment),” he said.
Ambassador Sandeep Chakravorty explained that 36 leading defense companies from India participated in the defense industry exhibition. He explained that India’s defense industry is currently developing rapidly in line with the call “Make in India-Make for the World”. Sandeep said, India Very much looking forward to increase bilateral cooperation in the defense sector and other fields with Indonesia.
