Zelensky, the First Ukrainian President to Visit the Philippines Featured

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday (03/06/2024) paid an official visit to the Philippines. Anadolu news agency reported, quoted by Antara, Zelensky is the first Ukrainian president to visit the Southeast Asian country.
During his visit Zelensky thanked the Philippines for supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, for the Philippines' firm stance against Russian aggression against our country and supporting important UN resolutions.
Zelensky held talks with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. They discussed, among other things, the first Global Peace Summit and the importance of Southeast Asian countries being represented there.
Zelensky confirmed that Manila will participate in the Global Peace Summit scheduled in Switzerland on June 15 and 16.(Antara)
