VOInews.id, Jakarta : Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in May 2024, foreign tourist visits in Indonesia reached 1.15 million. This number increased by 7.36 percent compared to April 2024 and increased by 20.11 percent compared to the same month in 2023.

"The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy continued to make various programs and strive for Indonesia as a destination that remains top of mind in the eyes of foreign tourists," said Nia Niscayaa.

For example, in the near future, the government will hold a Sales Mission in Australia, Familiarization Trip (Famtrip) in Australia and New Zealand and Table Top in South and Central Asian Markets.
