VOInews, Yogyakarta: Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno said he was amazed by the artworks and installations presented at ARTJOG 2024. He said the artists' works had very relevant messages and values. This was conveyed by Sandiaga Uno when he visited the contemporary art festival ARTJOG 2024, which was held at the Jogja National Museum from 28 June to 1 September 2024.
I am very fascinated by the installations, there are works that show that every bright path does not necessarily lead us forward, but we must pay attention to the dark sides of life. I hope this can add to the treasures of our creative economy, especially for the added value and the messages conveyed,' said Sandiaga on Saturday (20/7/2024).
According to the website kemenparekraf.go.id, the festival, which is part of Kemenparekraf's Karisma Event Nusantara (KEN 2024), will feature the works of 48 individual and group adult artists from inside and outside the country, as well as 36 children and youth artists.
On the same occasion, Menparekraf Sandiaga said that ARTJOG 2024 can be a showcase for the implementation of art events in different regions of the country.
