Ambassador of Lebanon to Indonesia, Mona El Tanier, said that Lebanon wanted to increase cooperation with Indonesia in the economic field. This has been the focus of her attention since carrying out his duties in Indonesia. Also this has been realized by signing several agreements with the foreign ministry.

"I have worked hard since I arrived in Indonesia to establish and activate bilateral relations between the two countries. Now we are focusing on the economy and the opening of the Lebanese market abroad. Especially as the Lebanese ambassador abroad and as the Lebanese Ambassador to ASEAN in Jakarta. I work to increase exports and imports from and to Lebanon, from Indonesia to Lebanon, from Lebanon to Indonesia, and agreements that we have previously negotiated with the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” said Mona El Tanier in a special interview with RRI World Service Voice of Indonesia Wednesday (11/28).

The Lebanese ambassador added, besides increasing economic cooperation, Lebanon wanted to increase tourism cooperation with Indonesia. She hoped that tourists from both countries would visit each other. The ambassador also expressed her appreciation for the security assistance from Indonesia in the presence of the Indonesian Military (TNI) in Lebanon. The TNI in Lebanon can work well with the Lebanese security forces, so as to create security stability in the country. (VOI / NENI / AHM)
