The 117.5 km long second Stage of Tour de Indonesia 2018 starting from Madiun city to the town of Mojokerto, East Java, was won by and Indonesian rider Abdul Gani who joined in KFC Cycling Team Samarinda, East Kalimantan. The rainy weather during the stage 2, did not make the riders lowered their bike riding, they remained stable at the speed of 50-60 km per hour. With this victory Abdul Gani deserves purple jersey in the second stage. While the 2nd Winner Mohammad Shahrul Mat Amin from Trengganu Pro Asia Cycling Team is entitled to have Ivory jersey.
