Young generation of representatives of 77 countries will learn arts and cultures of Minang for three months in Padang, West Sumatera in an event ‘Indonesia Channel’ program. The Indonesian Channel is initiated by Indonesian Foreign Affairs Ministry. The representatives of the 77 countries will learn local arts and cultures directly in the region, such as Padang, Solo, Banyuwangi, Makassar, and Kutai for three months. One week before returning to their countries, they will conduct art and cultural performance in Padang and this will be attended by ambassadors from their countries. In addition, West Sumatera is also trusted to host the Indonesian Channel on October 11 and 12, 2020. The province becomes the first region outside Java Island which will be host of the implementation of the program.

To promote Indonesian culture in the Netherlands, including Balinese religious culture, and to coincide with the celebration of Galungan and Kuningan, the Indonesian Embassy in The Hague held a joint prayer and Balinese Religious Culture performance in the Hague, Saturday (29/2). The event was attended by around 200 people. They are not only Hindus who live in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, but also the people of Indonesia, the Diaspora and Friends of Indonesia. Galungan and Kuningan celebrations at the Indonesian Embassy in The Hague were opened with Rejang Renteng Dance. The dancers composed of women and an odd number danced beautifully and enthusiastically. This dance is a symbol that humans in the world must dare to let go of the ego and can live in harmony with nature in a bid to create harmony of life.

Monash University of Australia collaborates in education and research with Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). One of the departments to be developed by Monash University in Jakarta is the Department of Architecture and Planning. Representative from Monash University, Andrew said that he just received the establishment license in Jakarta from Indonesian government. Thereby, the university wants to establish cooperation with universities in Indonesia. In collaboration with ITB, Monash University would like to develop the Architecture and Planning Department, because the department is still relatively new. Monash University has a good and longstanding relationship with Indonesia. In addition, there are many Monash University graduates from Indonesia.
