President Joko Widodo and his US counterpart Donald Trump discussed cooperation, to address the dearth of medical equipment and personal protection equipment or PPE,  in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Both leaders discussed the need for equipment, including ventilators and masks. President Joko Widodo held a telephonic conversation with President Donald Trump, on Friday night from the Bogor Presidential PalaceAs quoted by Antara News Agency, Trump said that Indonesia is an important country for the United State and need to continue to strengthen cooperation between both countries.Trump drew attention to the fact that the US had produced ventilators and will dispatch them to Indonesia once ready.
