The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia to Vietnam provides assistance to nurses in two provinces, namely South Sumatra and South Sulawesi. The assistance was in the form of cash worth Rp. 53 million respectively. Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Vietnam, Ibnu Hadi, in a meeting via the zoom application, Saturday (06/13/2020) night said, this assistance was provided as a form of concern as well as the concern of Indonesian community living in Hanoi, Vietnam, towards the condition of the Indonesian citizens who are still struggling against Covid-19.
"We realize that we are part of Indonesia. Therefore, this assistance is a form of concern for the condition of our relatives in Indonesia," said Ibnu Hadi, who was also witnessed by company representatives and a number of Indonesian citizens in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Not only the Indonesian community, a number of companies operating in Vietnam also give assistance. According to Ibnu Hadi, this assistance started since last Eid ul Fitr celebration. At that time, the embassy received many proposals from Indonesian citizens in Hanoi who wanted to provide assistance to Indonesia. Then the Indonesian Embassy facilitated the proposal. The enthusiasm of the community to give help was very high.
