On Friday (10/7), Indonesian Ambassador to New Zealand, Tantowi Yahya invited Ambassadors of ASEAN countries and their partners who joined the ASEAN Ladies Circle (ALC) in Wellington to learn to make coffee. The ASEAN Ambassadors in New Zealand and their partners learned from Jaya Argakusuma, a professional Barista who is an Indonesian citizen. The Indonesian Embassy in Wellington regularly holds barista training to the general public every Friday. This event is usually attended by students and Indonesian diaspora in Wellington from various ages and backgrounds. But at the moment, the barista training and the promotion of Indonesian coffee were held for the diplomatic community. Ambassadors of Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand along with their partners, diplomatic staff and representatives from the Filipino community seriously studied the speciality of "coffee". The Indonesian Embassy in Wellington plans to hold this event regularly every month on weekends.

This event will not only be attended by diplomats but also government officials, members of parliament and business people in Wellington.

Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan said that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is interested in cooperating with Indonesia in the health sector. He conveyed this when giving briefings and sharing experiences on the orientation of the candidates for the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia. In a written statement on Thursday (9/7), Minister Luhut said that the United Arab Emirates is very interested in cooperating with Indonesian companies to produce 1 million vaccines per year. He added that in the next research and innovation, there will be three countries that will cooperate with Indonesia.
