Millennials Become a Bridge between Indonesia and Russia

Millennials become the link between Indonesia and Russia now and in the future.This was stated by the Chancellor of ad interim from the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow / Deputy Ambassador to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, Azis Nurwahyudi at the opening of a webinar held by the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow, Tuesday (25/08).

The webinar, which was part of the 70th Anniversary of Indonesia-Russia Diplomatic Relations, featured Judika Madhuri as a speaker from the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow, Roman A. Romanov from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and Gilang Kembara from the Center for Strategic and Information Studies. Although there were a lot of enthusiasts for this webinar, the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow limited the number to only 100 participants. They came from Ministries / Institutions, schools and universities as well as individuals from Indonesia.

Azis said the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow invited innovative young people and gadget geeks or who really like gadgets to get to know more about the relationship between Indonesia and Russia.

In the webinar, Judika Madhuri gave an overview of the relationship between Indonesia and Russia from before independence until the 21st century. Judika also said that the role of millennials is important in exploring opportunities and becoming a bridge for relations between the two countries in the future. Meanwhile, Roman Romanov emphasized the progress of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of economy, security, military, humanity and culture.

Meanwhile, Gilang Kembara said the diplomatic relations between the two countries had been through a winding road in seventy years, and are currently experiencing a period of rejuvenation in the 21st century. It is also important for both countries to uphold international law, especially in realizing world peace and regional stability. The discussion, which was guided by the young diplomat -Juang Akbar, invited participants to become a bridge between the two countries, which could be the participation of young people in managing relations between the two countries.
