On February 10, 2024, the Myanmar military junta issued an order enforcing the People's Military Service Law of 2010. This law states that male citizens with age from 18 to 35 years old, and female citizens with age 18 to 27 years old are eligible to serve in the military. Those who evade military service or help others evade military service can be subject to prison sentences of up to five years.

Indonesia successfully held an election on February 14, 2024. Around 204.8 million people registered in the list, both at home and abroad, exercised their right to vote in the 2024 simultaneous general election. This fantastic number of voters makes Indonesia one of the largest election-organizing countries in the world.

The G7, consisting of the US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, and Japan, and also representatives of the European Union, supported the establishment of Palestine as a country while affirming that the process towards that path must begin by stopping the war in Gaza.

Today, February 14, 2024, is a critical day for the Indonesian people to determine the nation and country's fate for the next five years. Today, every Indonesian who has the right to vote, at home and abroad, casts their vote at polling stations determined based on their resident addresses. Indonesian people punch a ballot today to elect the president who will lead the country for the next five years. Besides that, it also elects people's representatives to sit in the central and local parliaments, simultaneously.

Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council on Saturday (10/2/2024) when Israel planned to launch a land operation in Rafah, the southernmost city in the Gaza Strip. In their statement, Saudi Arabia's Foreign Affairs Ministry warned of danger from the attack against Rafah in the Gaza Strip, which is the last shelter for thousands of civilians.

The Nicaraguan government sued four countries supplying weapons to Israel to the International Court of Justice. The Central American country on Monday (5/2/2024) began the process of suing Germany, the UK, the Netherlands and Canada at the International Court of Justice. The Nicaraguan government, as quoted from Sindonews, Wednesday (7/2/2024), said, "the four countries have supplied weapons to Israel to facilitate or commit violations of the Genocide Convention in the Gaza Strip."
