Indonesia's stock exchange evacuated people from the vicinity after a floor collapsed during the midday trading break on Monday(15/1). The floor collapsed into the ground level of the bourses Tower 2, spokesman Rheza Andhika said by phone, adding that it wasnt an explosion. Footage aired on Indonesian local television MetroTV showed several people lying on the ground at the entrance of the building. The situation remains unclear, with employees still being accounted for, said Friderica Widyasari Dewi, president director at Indonesia Central Securities Depository, which is based at the stock exchanges building. The stock exchange building also houses the World Banks local office, according to the bourses website. The benchmark stock index was little changed at 6,372.785 before the lunch break//  Voi.JP

Golkar Party Faction officially announced the new Chairman of Legal Commission of the House of Representatives (DPR) Bambang Soesatyo, replacing Setya Novanto. The announcement was delivered in the Golkar Faction meeting room, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, on Monday (15/1). It was delivered directly by the Chairman of Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto. He said, after the discussions and mechanisms in the Golkar Party and also the consideration of Golkar figures, then Bambang Soesatyo is elected as the chairman. Earlier, Deputy Secretary General of Golkar Party, Muhammad Sarmuji, said that Bambang was elected among six politicians because he is senior and experienced. Golkar Party Central Executive Board also sent Bambang Soesatyos name to the Golkar Board of Trustees for consideration. On Sunday (14/1) Golkar Board of Trustees held a meeting related to it, and the Golkar Chairman of the Board of Trustees Aburizal Bakrie said the appointment was approved for Bambang Soesatyo as the chairman of House of Representatives to replace Setya Novanto///Tempo

The Indonesian government takes over the flight information region -FIR in Natuna and Batam. During 69 years, the air space service has been controlled by Singapore. The Flight Information Region enjoyed by Singapore is a legacy of the United Kingdom since the 2nd World War that colonized Singapore. Aviation observer Dudi Sudibyo to Radio Republik Indonesia in Jakarta, Sunday (14/1) said, currently Indonesia has been able to operate the flight information region, because the country has sophisticated equipments and qualified human resources.

"Singapore was a British colony, which actually granted by the UN authority. Once it was finished, then passed down like inheritance. Now the situation changed because it is connected to the sovereignty of other countries. We have our own interest in Natuna including for the operation of our military aircraft.

Previously, the TNI Commander, Marshal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto, asserted, the airspace services issue becomes a serious concern. Until nowdays, the Indonesian Ministry of Defense and the TNI tried to take over the Flight Information Region from Singapore. Indonesia's export value in December 2017 reached 14.79 billion US Dollars. Head of the Central Bureau of Statistics, Kecuk Suhariyanto explained, the number decreased 3.45 percent compared to November 2017 exports. In a Press Briefing held on Monday (15/1) in Jakarta Suhariyanto explained that some non-oil and gas commodities in November to December were decrease, namely chocolate, kernel oil and palm oil. Meanwhile, coal, rubber and copper increased. According to Kecuk Suhariyanto, the development of non-oil and gas commodities affected export and import value during December 2017. However, compared to December 2016, export value of December 2017 increased 6.93 percent.

"If compared to year on year, December 2016 to December 2017 our exports remain quite good of 6.93 percent. Later it can be seen export trend from year to year showed that in 2017 in total was quite encouraging," Kecuk said.

Kecuk Suhariyanto further explained that the composition of exports in November and December 2017 remained the same, 90 percent came from non oil and gas, and 10 percent from oil and gas exports. Indonesian oil and gas exports rose 17.96 percent and its volume rose 12.67 percent. This indicates the influence of oil price increase. According to Suharyanto, the export movement in 2017 from January to December is generally much better than in 2016.
