President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) discussed a plan on operation of Light Rail Transit (LRT) in Bogor city with Deputy Mayor of Bogor Dede A Rachim, on Sunday evening.

"My concern is about transportation issue. He asked about two things. The first question is about Bogor preparations for LRT project," Rachim told the press.

The President also asked about the location of LRT station in Bogor (West Java), he added.

LRT is expected to be able to transport 120 thousand Bogor commuters daily.

He estimated that 30 percent of passengers of electric train (KRL) and 40 percent of private car users will switch to LRT.

"Why is it 40 percent? Because in 2020, the Jakarta Administration will apply Electronic Road Pricing (ERC). So, those using cars will be charged twice for toll roads. This must be anticipated," he said.

Indonesia has been developing LRT projects in several cities such as Palembang in South Sumatra, Jakarta, Bekasi (in West Java) and Bogor. The LRT in Palembang  is the country's pioneer project and has been operational since last year, coinciding with the implementation of the 18th Asian Games organized simultaneously in two cities, namely in Jakarta and Palembang from Aug 18 to Sept 2, 2018.

The Palembang LRT project is worth Rp10 trillion. Length of the Palembang LRT line is 23.5 kilometers, which includes 13 stations. The normal travel speed is 90 minutes. However, by using the LRT, the travel time is only 45 minutes. (ant)

Maluku Province on Sunday exported more than 6.4 tons of fresh tuna to Japan from the Pattimura Ambon international airport. Head of the Maluku Industry and Trade Office Elvis Pattiselano said that exports carried out by PT. Maluku Prima Mandiri utilizes the services of Batik Air and Lion Air airlines.

This direct export is only transit in Jakarta after the Maluku provincial government with the support of a number of competent parties handled the transaction in an integrated manner.

"So the export value of Maluku's fresh tuna to a number of countries in the past four months has jumped sharply compared to that in the last eight months of 2018 when the value was recorded at only 10 million US dollars," he said.

He pointed out that fresh tuna exports were also carried out by two other exporters, PT. Harta Samudera and PT. Cemerlang Laut Ambon.

In addition, live mangrove crabs were exported by Putri Desi to Singapore and Malaysia. The export took place on January 12, 2019, with a volume of 1.1 tons.

Live mangrove crabs which are directly exported from Maluku are now increasingly favored by consumers in Singapore and Malaysia. Some 2.04 tons of the crabs were exported on May 1, 2019 and 1.45 tons of them went to those neighboring countries on May 4, 2019.

Maluku through PT. Kamboti had also launched exports of nutmegs to India, the Netherlands and the United Arab Emirates from the Naval Base in Ambon on April 30, 2019.

"Maluku is currently experiencing an increase in exports, following a decline due to the impact of the humanitarian tragedy in 1999," Elvis said.

He said the Maluku export improvement team was formed on November 8, 2018. (ant)

The second title was donated by Hendra Setiawan / Mohammad Ahsan's men's doubles. In the final round that took place this afternoon, Hendra / Ahsan beat Hiroyuki Endo / Yuta Watanabe (Japan), with a score of 20-22, 21-15, 21-17.

Jonatan performed well in the final match, the game was neat and tended to be minimal by his own mistakes. This made Ng unable to develop his game and made many successive mistakes.

"I saw the condition of the opponent's feet seemed uncomfortable if run around. So I deliberately made him run to the corner of the field, maybe this is what makes him uncomfortable playing. I also do not want to rush to attack, because if it continues to smash, defense that's good, so I tried to cross-left, right, front and back, "explained Jonatan, who is now ranked ninth in the world.

"In this tournament, I tried to return to my appearance in Malaysia and the Singapore Open yesterday. Especially now that I have started collecting points at the Olympics. I try to enjoy, relax, don't think I have to win, have so many points. I focus party by party "I don't think about the later round, just that day," answered Jonatan when asked about his stable appearance from the early round.

This victory is not only a provision for Jonatan to be in the top ranks of the men's singles world rankings, but also improve his record meeting with Ng. Jonatan's first two meetings were won by Ng, but Ng took the lead in the last four meetings.

"Before the Olympics, I focus on taking as many points as possible in each tournament that I follow, not to waste the opportunity given by PBSI. For ranking, I want the Top 8 to be superior if it can qualify for the Olympics," said 2018 Asian Games gold medalist.
